September's Probe: Lenses

Which lens is your workhorse?

Which lenses would you not leave home without?

Let's talk about "fast" and "slow" lenses.

* Bill found these at Borders

Our first issue was camera bags. What type do you use and why? Special features? How much equipment will it hold?

We had an enthusiastic discussion about camera bags at the April 22nd meeting. At least ten members (but fifteen bags) made their "case" for what works for them. The first question to ask yourself when purchasing any item is, "What am I going to use it for?" This will determine if you'll need a small backpack, a medium sized camera bag or an overnighter hiking pack.
