Ruth has also had an image selected for the 2012 Bridgewater Credit Union's Calendar. She has also had a runner-up image for the Taunton Watershed Assoc.'s calendar and another runner -up for the Bridgewater Credit Union.

PSA American Portfolio

“In the American Portfolios, the Commentator awards "Green Eagles" to

members for particularly fine prints. Prints receiving Green Eagles are then

eligible for the annual Green Eagle Contest. There are two separate contests,

one for monochrome prints and the other for color prints.

Winning prints from this contest receive medals and ribbons and

are exhibited at the PSA Annual Conference.

Fourteen members of HDP submitted images for this International Salon

with six of us being awarded with nine Acceptances.

This year the Competitions Committee decided to expand our endeavors into Inter-club Competitions by adding several PSA and NECCC opportunities to our schedule. In our first foray into PSA's CPID Competition held this month (October, 2011), HDP took FIRST place in the Class D Division with 67 points. We will do our best to hold this position for the December,February, and April competitions.
