I have always loved art in any way, shape or form.

I guess you could say it is in my genes. My mother painted, hooked rugs, crocheted and made many of

our clothes. My dad built stonewalls, doll houses, and much of our furniture. Both of my parents could

plant a garden that would make our yard a work of art.

My sisters and I painted, drew, and created bouquets from my parent's gardens.

I picked up my first DSLR two years ago and was instantly "hooked". Instant art, I thought, but soon discovered it is an evolving and intricate process.

My membership in the HDP club has been a chance to meet many others who share a love of photography

as well as an opportunity to grow, learn, and develop

my photographic skills. Travel has always been a

love of mine, and combining photography with it,

a sheer joy.
