I found out about SLR's and purchased a Minolta SRT101 and then started adding to my camera bag with many different lenses; from 90mm Macro to 100-500 Zoom, shooting mostly on slide film. many changes, including its name, as it became the Greater Brockton Camera Club. I served as its Treasurer for many years. I enjoyed competing in the various categories at the club, earning many ribbons in Nature, Photo-Journalism, Photo-Travel, Portraiture, and Open categories. My portfolio was reviewed and accepted. have now progressed to a Nikon D3000. I still find the technology of the digital camera totally amazing and the instant feedback blows my mind.
